We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineer, Electrical, to provide project management and focus for Value Analysis Engineering opportunities within the supply base. You will assist in establishing a formalized VA Program that is part of our on-going cost reduction efforts with all key suppliers.

| Responsibilities |
Drive and establish key Value Analysis opportunities within assigned products and vendor scope
Coordinate cost reduction opportunities with multi-function teams within strategic business units, procurement, supply chain and operations
Develop / maintain business case metrics: cost incurred, estimated cost at completion, and internal rate of return
Develop project plan inclusive of cost payback (ROI analysis)
Develop annual Value Analysis project / program with key suppliers in concert with Global Commodity Management
Drive Value Analysis program implementation from start to finish including inventory impacts of impinged product

| Qualifications |
Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering; Masters Degree strongly preferred
5 to 15 years of hands on manufacturing / design or supplier management experience that has yielded significant product cost reduction
DFM Program implementation / value system mapping
Lean initiatives a strong plus
